Oh, Jennifer, why must you do this to me? I love you, I really do. You're so talented and pretty...and yet:
Admittedly, this is not the worst thing ever seen on Fashion Poirot. What concerns me is that recently you've been leaning towards very fashion-forward ensembles that don't quite translate so well from the runway to the red carpet. Or, you know. Black carpet, in this case. I think the sash-like thing is the worst part; it looks woven. As in, woven baskets. And the ruffles are just too disorganized; rather than flowing serenely, they just sort of stick out limply.
Sigh. This dress almost worked. Almost.

I was thinking the same thing. The fabric isn't bad just needs to be redesigned and lose the belt.
What do you think of Jessica Alba? I haven't seen a bad pic of her yet. She seems to have a great fashion sense, or at least someone dresses her well.
Face Natural, I am beginning to fear that Jessica Alba's lovely face will never grace these pages, because she always dresses stylishly but unpretentiously. She doesn't take many fashion risks, but I respect that she dresses like...well, like a real person might, not just a Hollywood celeb! Also, kudos to her for being classy and modest, despite her almost sex-symbol-like status.
